PURPOSE/DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

The Endoscopy Reprocessing Technician is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and storage of endoscopes and equipment used during procedures. The Endo Tech is accountable to and works under the direct supervision of the OR/Endoscopy Manager. The tech also works collaboratively with nursing and physician teams in the department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Sterile Processing Technique preferred
• Current BLS Certification, or ability to obtain within 60 days
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered

COMPENSATION

• $17.50 - $20.12 DOE
